About Jonathan

J. Oswald Sanders in his book Spiritual Leadership writes, The person who sees the difficulties so clearly that he does not discern the possibilities cannot inspire a vision in others.” We all go through seasons of great difficulty. Barriers in our careers, health issues, broken relationships, doubt, financial struggles, and other life circumstances can keep you from seeing new possibilities.
My name is Jonathan Rector, and I am committed to walking with you to help empower and inspire a vision within you. I am passionate about investing in and empowering others to lead well. Leadership is about influence, and everyone holds influence somewhere. We influence ourselves. We influence our families, friends, co-workers, teammates, and even sometimes complete strangers. We all want to leave a legacy and achieve something while we are here. My heart is to help you craft a vision, see new possibilities, and grow deeper in your or your organization’s life.

My Experience

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership & Management from Lincoln Christian Univeristy, and have completed 4 years of Master’s work in Biblical Studies. I am a Certified Professional Coach, Executive Leadership Coach, Community Coach, and Life Coach from the Fowler School of Business and Executive Coaching and the Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching. I have also completed over 100 hours of Trust-based Relational Intervention (TBRI) training, and have worked with at-risk youth for 6+ years.

I have over 10 years of work experience in Sales, Management, Non-profit leadership, church leadership, and project management. I have a unique background that has equipped me well to love people, and help them grow. In 2019, I joined Mary Rector (my mother) to help transform Lone Star Life Coaching into Rector Professional Coaching. In 2020, I became the President and Chief Operating Officer of Rector Professional Coaching!
