What is a Life Coach?

A Life Coach Is…

A Life Coach is a trained, caring professional who helps clients achieve their goals and objectives and live a happier, successful and more joy-filled life. Life Coaches possess the knowledge, techniques, tools and exercises to coach their clients to improve in all aspects of their personal and professional lives including:

  • Relationships
  • Career
  • Financial
  • Health and Wellness
  • Spiritual
  • Overall Well-Being

There are many Life Coaches who specialize and focus on specific areas, but most certified coaches have basic training in these areas. Life Coaches ask appropriate questions to assist their clients in creating well thought out and detailed plans to move forward in achieving their objectives. Life Coaches employ the proven techniques of professional coaching in helping clients to remain focused, motivated and accountable in taking the necessary action steps to achieve their goals.

There are Different Coaches Because…

All of RPC’s coaches are certified Life Coaches, but they are passionate about certain areas of coaching. Mary Rector is a Master Coach who has a heart for teaching other coaches, and encouraging and equipping clients with Life Coaching.

Jonathan Rector also does Life Coaching, but he is extremely passionate about equipping and empowering leaders. He focuses most of his time and energy towards clients wanting to enter the workforce, change careers, or grow as a leader. Jonathan is also a certified Executive Leadership Coach, and works closely with nonprofit organizations to help the community.

RPC seeks to grow long-term as a network of coaches offering clients diverse and passionate coaches who want to accelerate you towards personal and professional success. We seek to equip, empower, and encourage you to live, lead, and succeed to your fullest potential!

Which Coach Should I Hire?

Hiring a coach can be confusing. There are so many types of coaches and great companies. RPC believes picking the right coach for you really depends on two things:

  • When we ask why you want to hire a coach, your answer is__________? Whatever comes to mind is a good start. If you said career, you might want a career coach. If you need or want a more holistic approach then you might start with a Life Coach.
  •  Personal Connection Matters. Personality plays a major effect. Most coaches are competent in their areas of practice, but if you do not seem compatible with your coach you might want to look elsewhere.

Research indicates some coaches may charge as little as $35 per session (30 to 60 minutes), while other coaches receive $300 and more. Pricing per session is based on geography, expertise, experience, demand, and education.

According to a recent Global Coaching Study conducted by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the average annual income for Life Coaches in North America is $61,900.

Hiring a coach is an investment. Coaching generally provides a return on investment (R.O.I.) typically between 500%-700%!!!

RPC offers a variety of coaching packages to maximize your return on investment. Our coaches also have the freedom to craft custom coaching plans based around your needs. Every client is different, and we are here to equip, empower, and encourage you to live, lead, and succeed to your fullest potential!
